CMExtension is pleased to announce the release of CM Gift Card version 3.0.0.
This is a significant update primarily focused on modernizing the code base to ensure future stability and performance. While version 3.0.0 does not introduce new user-facing features, it involves a complete rewrite to achieve two critical goals:
- Full Compatibility with the latest Joomla! 6 release.
- Dropping Support for all older Joomla! 3 versions.
If you are currently running Joomla! 3, DO NOT upgrade CM Gift Card to version 3.0.0. This version is incompatible with Joomla! 3 and is strictly for newer environments.
We strongly recommend planning an immediate upgrade of your core Joomla! system to version 5 or 6. These major versions provide the latest security patches, significant performance improvements, and modern features that ensure your site remains secure and up-to-date.
